Are there any special requirements for married female applicants?

Yes.
The applicant’ (s) must have original CNIC / NICOP bearing the name of husband. In case, the marital status is not updated on CNIC / NICOP, the applicant must approach NADRA to update marital status before applying for Passport. In case of a divorcee, the same procedure applies for substituting father’s name in place of husband’s name.

Is it possible to rectify or make changes in the name spellings in Passport after submission of data?

No.

Is it possible to include surname or family name in Passport or change particulars?
Yes.
The applicant needs to modify / revise name/any data on CNIC / NICOP before applying for a modified passport.
Do I need to bring copies of parents' IDs (CNIC / Passport)?

Yes.

Can I get the Passport renewed online?
I applied online for renewal of Passport. However, I am facing difficulty in uploading / updating of the data in the system. Can I get any assistance from the Consulate in uploading of data or processing of the case?

No. The data of the online renewal cases cannot be accessed/uploaded from the Consulate. However, if your case has been rejected by the online renewal system it can be processed as new case at the Consulate. The Consulate can also conduct interview and/or verification of documents, if your case has been referred by the online system.

I applied for online Passport and I am directed to visit Consulate for interview and documents verification. What should be the way forward?

Please book an appointment and visit the Consulate along with Passport, Visa, CNIC etc in original.

Are NICOP and Passport processed simultaneously?

No.
The Passport can be processed only after the NICOP has been issued.
