Applications are invited from Pakistani nationals for the position of Chairman and Dean, Shaikh Zayed Postgraduate Medical Institute, Lahore. The candidates should have a proven track record of integrity with successful management / target achievement and ability to communicate effectively, build a dedicated team of professionals, and provide dynamic leadership.

Age:
Not more than 60 years
Qualifications:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification with higher postgraduate qualification i.e. Ph.D. in case of Basic Sciences, or FCPS / MRCP / FRCS / MD / MS / American Board or equivalent in case of Clinical Sciences, recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
- Shall be an eminent person of scientific and medical repute.
- Master’s Degree or Postgraduate Higher Diploma in Public Health, MHPE, Health Services Administration, Medical Sciences, or equivalent recognized by HEC will be preferred.
- Minimum of 15 publications in peer reviewed journals, of which at least 3 should be in international journals recognized by HEC/PMDC.
Experience:
- Being Professor in Medical Profession for 05 years on a regular basis.
- 3 years’ experience in hospital administration and management on a senior level, preferably as head of a Medical Institution.
Tenure:
The selected candidate will be appointed for a tenure of three years on contract basis, extendable for further period not exceeding three years at a time on such terms and conditions as may be determined by the Federal Government.
Emoluments:
Equivalent to initial stage of BPS-22 with fringe benefits.
