Power of Attorney / Affidavit / Authority Letters

• Only Pakistani citizens residing in New South Wales (NSW) may apply to the Consulate General of Pakistan in Sydney.
• Application Form for Power of Attorney/Authority Letter/Attestation.
• Executant’s Original Pakistani/Australian Passport along with its copy.
• Executant’s Valid Original Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) along with its copy.
• Attorney’s/Authorized person Copy of Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP).
• Two recent passport size photographs (one photograph need to be affixed on the Power of Attorney next to place of signature).
• Valid Copies of Witnesses CNIC/NICOP should be provided and witnesses should sign on the POA/Authority Letter/Affidavit document.
• The executant is required to sign the Power of Attorney/Authority Letter/Affidavit in front of the attesting officer.

Please Note: Personal Appearance is MANDATORY for attestation of Power of Attorney, Authority Letters, and Affidavit

• Processing fee is AUD 20.00 (non-refundable) per executant. For urgent processing, double fee will be charged
• Fee may be paid through EFTPOS (bank charges apply) – all credit / debit cards, except American Express, are accepted
• No cash payment is accepted

• Fill in Application Form
• Prepare and print text of the document

• Physical presence of the executant(s) is mandatory.
• Bring printed document (POA) along with required documents
• Get document signed by 2 witnesses (who are also Pakistani / dual nationals)
• Sign and put thumb impression on all pages in front of Consular Officer
• Pay Fee and submit documents
